Tibetan Highland Black Pottery Cup
Where Ancient Craft Meets Everyday Ritual
Inspired by high-altitude black-pottery traditions, each cup is individually hand-pinched, carrying subtle fingertip textures and gentle, one-of-a-kind curves. The matte charcoal surface recalls quiet mountain nights, creating a serene backdrop for the aroma of coffee or tea.
About Tibetan Black Pottery
Crafted from pure, unpolluted clay sourced in the sacred Gongbala mountains, this cup is smoke-fired with natural highland barley (qingke). As the grains burst in the intense heat, they leave delicate “Moonlight Patterns”—organic silver-grey imprints that capture a quiet dialogue between humanity and nature.
This centuries-old barley carbon-firing method is unique to authentic Tibetan black pottery.
A Vessel for Wellness and Warmth
The cup’s balanced thickness offers gentle heat retention without heaviness, while its finely fired interior is perfect for lattes, pour-over coffee, or fragrant teas.
Rooted in traditional Tibetan herbal wisdom, long-term use of black-pottery drinkware is believed to support natural wellness.
More than a vessel, this black-pottery cup is a small daily ritual—each sip a dialogue with nature, each moment an invitation to stillness.
Before First Use
