About Tibetan Black Pottery
Sourced from the sacred Gongbala mountains, the clay is pure and unpolluted. Each piece is smoke-fired with natural highland barley (qingke). As the grains burst in the intense heat, they leave delicate “Moonlight Patterns”—organic silver-grey imprints that embody a quiet dialogue between humanity and nature. This ancient barley carbon-firing technique is found only in authentic Tibetan black pottery.
Rooted in traditional Tibetan herbal wisdom, long-term use of black-pottery drinkware is believed to support natural wellness.
Before Use
Boil the piece in black tea or any loose-leaf tea for about 1 hour to remove the natural barley smoke scent. Rinse with clean water before first use.
